TRAX Trip – Recce to Mt. Purgatory

G’day,

I would like to invite you to our second TRAX 4WD Fellowship trip for 2018.

Mt. Purgatory is in the Ranges behind the town of Bulahdelah. It’s a fair hike from Sydney or a one day trip so we’ll be leaving Sydney (Berowra) about 6:30 am.
Bring everything that you will need for a really great day, including recovery gear.
(Remember to have those recovery points on your vehicle, you may need them). If
you want a BBQ lunch then bring a gas stove as there will probably be fire
restrictions on that day. It’ll be a great day.

Grade – Could be anything! Just remember that if we can get you in we’ll be able
to get you out.
Leader – Neil Flower. Contact Neil or trips@trax.org.au if interested.

You will need a full tank of fuel. Recovery equipment (well you should always be prepared). Food –  lunch and afternoon tea. Camera – pictures needed for TRAXION.

Urgent Memo!
It has come to my attention that some TRAX members will not be able to attend the TRAX trip scheduled for Saturday 20th January (Recce trip to Mt. Purgatory), owing to an earlier commitment.
So, we have scheduled it for the following Saturday January 27th .

It may be in the middle of a long weekend, but some who may like to attend could also having a camping weekend at Bulahdelah (Myall Lakes) and then come to the Mt. Purgatory trip on the Saturday.
Remember that the Long weekend will begin on the Thursday night, Friday being Australia Day (January 26th).

See you on the tracks
