TRAX Trip – Mount Airly

We’re running out of a base camp at Airly Gap Campground where booking is essential!

You are welcome to get there earlier or stay longer, but the TRAX trip is 23-25.

There’ll be a variety of driving on this trip, but the best thing will be views across the valleys and the rocky outcrops and cliff lines. We may even do a little bushwalking to Valley of the Dinosaurs and Ultimate Slot for a bit of variety.

As some will be towing campers, we’ll meet at Capertee Rest Area at 9:00 and head off at 9:30 and travel directly to the Airly Gap Campground. We’ll quickly set up camp/claim spots, remember booking is essential, before heading off onto the tracks.

Please note there are NIL facilities provided at Airly Gap campground so you would need to come prepared and be self-sufficient (bring your Port-a-loo!).

This trip is ‘C’ grade.
