| Details: 11-12th April TRAX Trip – Marulan to Hampton |
TL-Rob Drummond
Come along on this overnight trip following fire trails and some sealed roads between Marulan and Hampton. On both days you can expect easy driving, but some trails will be steep and river crossings may get above your door sills, but the riverbeds are hard and stable.
Enroute, for those with a penchant for antiques you might like to browse ‘Love Vintage Taralga’ and/or grab a coffee and cinnamon donut at The Coffee Palette if we’re early enough (a mobile coffee shop closing at 1pm).
Overnight will be at Silent Creek campground within Abercrombie River NP: https://www.nationalparks.nsw.
We’ll continue through Kanangra-Boyd NP to Kanangra Walls Road, with a visit to the Walls Lookout if time permits. Afterwards we’ll conclude our trip at the Millionth Acre picnic area on Jenolan Caves Road.
