G’day,
I would like to invite you to our next TRAX 4WD Fellowship trip. We are going to Sunny Corner.
Sunny Corner State Forest covers an area of about around 13,000 hectares and borders the following other reserves: Turon State Forest and Winburndale Nature Reserve. The varied landscapes of lush green forests and naked clearings make for very pleasant driving on the many winding forest tracks.
Still need to do a recce. With around 13,000 hectares I am sure to find some new tracks. Thinking of trying the other side of Sunny Corner Rd (east) and the north end of the forest.
An email will be sent out approx. a week before the trip to people who book in with details of meeting place and time.
You will need a full tank of fuel from Sydney . UHF radio (Channel 13). Recovery equipment (well you should always be prepared). Camera – pictures needed for TRAXION, Food – Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea .
Note:- A Visitor’s fee of $10 per vehicle will be charged for non-members attending. This fee will be counted as the joining fee for visitors signing-up for membership withing 14 days.
