My Personal Reflections on a Christian life well lived<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I reflect after attending the funeral of a 92-year-old lady, being involved in so many things in Christ\u2019s service and a good strong Christian extended family. One of her favourite songs we sang was,\u201d Jesus loves me yes I know\u201d. I first met her when I first started attending my local church in 1984.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bible Reading used in the Service was from 1 Thessalonians 5:12-24
Final Instructions
12<\/em> Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. 13<\/em> Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other. 14<\/em> And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone. 15<\/em> Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.16<\/em> Rejoice always, 17<\/em> pray continually, 18<\/em> give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God\u2019s will for you in Christ Jesus.19<\/em> Do not quench the Spirit. 20<\/em> Do not treat prophecies with contempt 21<\/em> but test them all; hold on to what is good, 22 <\/em>reject every kind of evil.23<\/em> May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 <\/em>The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This a great summary of the way we as Christians we should live our lives, \u201cgive thanks in all circumstances; for this is God\u2019s will for you in Christ Jesus\u201d.
