TRAX trip – CMS Summer School 2017

Details:
Saturday 10th January 2017
Annual Church Missionary Society Summer School trip

G’day,

I would like to invite you to our first TRAX 4WD Fellowship trip for 2017.

If you have some holidays or work free days in early January why not come to Katoomba for a day of “Bush and Blessing”? Join other TRAX members for the Annual Day trip in conjunction with the Church Missionary Society Summer School. Come for the whole day (Bible exposition at 9:00, Katoomba Convention grounds) or come at 10:30am for the TRAX trip. Meet at loop Cliff Drive near Narrow Neck Lookout Katoomba (remember 10:30 am, don’t be late). Bring lunch (not BBQ – fire restrictions in mountains) for a easy grade short trip with great photographic views. Return to Katoomba by 6:00pm for the evening meeting or straight home if you need to. Contact Neil Flower for this one neilflower@bigpond.com before 27th Dec. or on 0408 216 401 after that time. (Bookings absolutely necessary).

This year we are going to Lithgow Small Arms Factory Museum and some surrounding lookouts.

“This museum located on the original Small Arms Factory site houses a fascinating collection that showcases the industrial heritage of our nation, and the finest firearms display in the Southern Hemisphere. You may be surprised to recognise some of the diverse array of commercial items manufactured by the factory during the lean times.” from http://www.lithgowsafmuseum.org.au/

You will need a full tank of fuel. Recovery equipment (well you should always be prepared). Food – morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Camera – pictures needed for TRAXION.

See you on the tracks
